PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! Boris Johnson has published his road map out of lockdown this afternoon which will "cautiously" allow people to reclaim their lives after almost a year under coronavirus restrictions. The current lockdown measures have been in place since Tuesday January 5 and the nation is desperate for life to return to some form of normality. The government has announced that there will be four different ‘stages’ of reopening the country, and four data ‘tests’ must be met for each one, to prove that vaccines are effective and hospitals are protected. The main priority is to open schools on Monday, March, 8 with plans to reopen non-essential retail in April. Hairdressers, beauty salons and personal care services will remain closed until April 12 at the earliest. There is also pressure to re-open pubs, restaurants, gyms and shops but the government says it will be "led by data, not dates." Families from two different households will be permitted to meet outdoors by next month, meaning people can gather in gardens and parks. However, the reopening will come under stage three of the government's four-stage approach to easing lockdown. Hairdressers, barbers and salons opened last summer after the country's first lockdown came to an end, with the mandatory wearing of face masks introduced for all customers and staff and it's set to be the same again.

. When will pubs and restaurants reopen? Pubs, restaurants and other venues may reopen their outdoor areas by April 12 at the earliest, for outside and takeaway drinks only. The outdoor provision will mean restaurants will be able to operate outdoor tables only and for pubs, beer gardens only. This reopening will be in line with rules on social distancing, meaning either two households or the rule of six will apply when meeting people in a beer garden. Customers will also have to be seated when they order food or drink. Both the 10 pm curfew and 'substantial meal' rule that was enforced last year has been scrapped by the Prime Minister. Since January 5, exercising has been limited, with people being told their daily exercise must be limited to one outdoor excursion only and not outside their local area and only with one other person outdoors from outside your household. However, there have been calls to reopen gyms as a matter of priority because of the positive effects exercise has on mental health. Rules for outdoor exercise will be relaxed on March 8, with non-contact sports such as tennis and golf to follow three weeks later. Outdoor sports facilities tennis and basketball courts can reopen and people can take part in “formally organised” outdoor sports, both children and adults.
