The North Queensland Cowboys and Queensland ace, a current Australia international, has revealed that he has held talks with Tony Iro regarding a possible change of allegiance ahead of the tournament in England later this year. . “I think this will probably be the toughest World Cup campaign, especially over there. We have seen New Zealand and Tonga play each other a few weeks ago and that was an awesome match. “New Zealand are looking pretty good, Australia always have a strong side but this World Cup, from 2017, I feel this one is going to be a bit stronger. Hopefully there is a good Cook Islands side there as well.” His revelation comes a day after Josh Papalii confirmed he would represent England's opening-day opponents, Samoa, in the World Cup later this year.
