Thank you, all of you, for the work you are to do today, and go out and enjoy it.” Chief Inspector Gilmour added: “The day was a success and we were delighted with the positive results our officers were achieving when out and about executing their warrants or other tasking. “I’d like to thank all those from within the force and our partner agencies who came together to make this happen. Your hard work has helped keep our communities safe and disrupted criminality which affects their lives. "I would also like to thank all those people who took the time to speak to our officers yesterday and engage with us. If you still have concerns over crime, I would continue to urge you to report your concerns to us either via the live portal or live chat functions on our policing website, by calling 101, by talking to your local neighbourhood team via social media Q&A sessions or at PACT meetings, or anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers.” Read next: Firm that left 'death-trap' building site open to 'adventurous' Conley Tompson fined £600,000 after tragedy Tragic final moments of 'caring' mum killed by boyfriend who died minutes later after police chase Heartbroken mum's tribute to Sarah Oliver killed in crash days before 21st birthday Simon Wilkinson named as man found dead in Fox Hill Road in Sheffield as Andrew Hague charged with murder Get breaking news by email by signing up to our newsletters Read More Related Articles Police issue 'do not approach' warning over wanted Bradford man Sunan Mehmood after serious sex attack Read More Related Articles Boy, 17, arrested after girl, 13, stabbed in stomach in Sheffield park
