PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! Big changes are afoot at Sheffield Wednesday after one of the worst seasons in their modern history. The Owls are heading for League One after finishing bottom of the Championship. We canvassed Wednesdayites' opinions on the campaign and asked them who they blame for relegation. More than 2,300 supporters took part in our survey and 63 per cent lay the blame firmly at owner Dejphon Chansiri's door. The Thai-based chairman faces an uphill battle to win back the trust of fans after a troubled year on and off the pitch. Wednesday kicked off the season on minus 12 points after breaching English Football League spending rules - a punishment reduced to six on appeal last November - and have had three permanent managers. Six people have taken charge of the team in the past six months: Garry Monk, Tony Pulis, Neil Thompson, Andy Holdsworth, Darren Moore and Jamie Smith. Many supporters have turned on Chansiri, calling on him to change his ways and take a step back from the day-to-day running of the club.

It is not just Chansiri who has come in for big criticism. Sixteen per cent of fans blamed the players for the club's demise. The Owls recorded just 12 wins in 46 matches and boasted the worst away record in the division. Monk claimed 10 per cent of the vote and Tony Pulis, who lasted just 10 matches and was axed over the Christmas period, picked up five per cent.
