Awaias Riaz who owns Stay Hotel, the former Huddersfield Crown Court building, in Princess Street says he is going into partnership with a Dewsbury -based group, Sapphire. And on Zetland Street, opposite The Showtime bar, work has been going on for months to develop a large burger bar, Bunchiz, which is also set to open soon. Awaias, who has hotel interests across the north of England, said: "We feel like it's the right time to open the cafe and this will happen in early to mid-December. I wouldn't describe it as 'fine dining' but it's similar to what is offered at The Manor Hotel in Lindley.
