The 40-year-old man has been arrested for trying to kill a 10-year-old and an 11-year-old, as well as assaulting an emergency worker. The horrifying stabbing attack happened inside and outside a house in Church Row, Otley Road, Beckwithshaw, on Monday, June 20. The 11-year-old victim needed emergency surgery to save their life. North Yorkshire Police say a 10-year-old child and a 13-year-old child were also present when the attack unfolded. The eldest child suffered minor injuries.
