. Tours and Tastings can be added on at £15 per person on Fridays and Saturdays. Tours are held on the day of arrival and if a tour is not available on your chosen date guests are welcome to explore the vineyard and visit the winery. And the vineyard is not the only place to discover. Set on south facing slopes at the foot of the Yorkshire Wolds, the setting is rural and peaceful yet still only seven miles from the market town of Malton with regular food markets and food festivals which are hugely successful, lively and fun and well worth a visit. Ryedale Vineyard is perfectly placed to explore the moors and coast and a welcome stop for cyclists and walkers as well and has two very good pubs nearby and as Malton is the ‘Food Capital’ of North Yorkshire there are lots of great places to eat. Whats' more on returning to the farmhouse to settle down for the night guests can help themselves to a bottle of wine from the honesty bar and relax without needing to drive anywhere. Castle Howard is also nearby, as is the North York Moors Railway. Rydedale Vineyard is also just a short drive from York, great for shopping, visiting and the races, why not make a full weekend of it. Unfortunately due to high demand the farmhouse is completely booked for overnight stays in 2022, however, guests can still enjoy the wine tasting and vineyard tours during the day and bookings for 2023 are now open.
