PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! Duane Holmes paid tribute to his former Huddersfield Town teammate and close friend Jordan Sinnott after scoring his first goal in the Terriers' 4-1 win over Swansea City. The midfielder struck twice as Carlos Corberan's side stopped their winless run at eight games by claiming a shock victory over the promotion-chasing Swans - the second time this season they have beaten Steve Cooper's side. And Holmes took the opportunity to pay a touching tribute to Sinnott after his first goal, holding up his fingers to spell "2-5" before pointing to the heavens. Sinnott died aged 25 in January last year after being attacked on a night out, and at his brother Tom's request hundreds of clubs and players around the country sent football shirts bearing 'Sinnott 25' on the back to the family for his funeral. The shirts were subsequently donated to Sport Relief.

. For every replica shirt sold with either 'Sinnott 25' or 'Ward 25' on the back this season, £5 is donated to the Jordan Sinnott Foundation Trust, which raises money to help vulnerable and underprivileged children and young adults gain access to sport and recreation. After coming back to the John Smith's Stadium in a permanent transfer from Derby County in January, Holmes said he would also have liked to have taken the number 25 had it been available. Holmes added to that first goal against Swansea by scoring his second - and Town's fourth - just three minutes later in stunning fashion, finding the far top corner from outside the box after cutting inside from the left wing.
