Fans of the popular show are devastated to hear that the show has officially been cancelled. Keen viewers had been waiting patiently for over a year, for news of series 6 but it has today been announced that it will sadly not be happening. With the show's matriarch, Amanda Owen, posting regular updates about her life on Instagram since the last series - which aired in April last year - fans have been regularly asking her when season six would be coming out. But it has now been announced that the show is formally cancelled, with no new series set to air. The news comes after the break-up of Amanda and her husband of 21 years, Clive Owen. She told fans: "Clive and I are sad to confirm that we have made the difficult decision to separate.

. "Although we are no longer a couple, we continue to work on the farm and co-parent together, with our number one priority the happiness and well-being of our children." Since the split, Amanda has moved away from Ravenseat and it has long thrown the future of Our Yorkshire Farm into question. But, for fans who are not quite ready to say goodbye to the lovable bunch of characters just yet, a new show is set to air, the DailyStar reports. The replacement show, which will act as an Our Yorkshire Farm spin-off, will feature Reuben and Clive as it charts their own business endeavours. Channel 5 have today commissioned the new series, which will be called Beyond the Yorkshire Farm. Viewers will watch on as they see how the teenager’s unique childhood has prepared him for adult life, as he gets down to work with his dad. It will also document the highs and lows of Reuben’s first year in business and watch dad Clive, best mate Tom and girlfriend Sarah join him on this momentous journey. And fans will not have long to wait, either. The new series will air on Channel 5 on Tuesday, December 6 at 9pm. Channel 5 have also hinted at "future Owen Family projects" adding that they will be revealed in due course. This comes days after Amanda and Clive reunited for a very special reason. To mark the former couple's daughter, Raven, graduating from university, Amanda, 48, and Clive, 68, posed for a snap.
