PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! Transpennine Express have announced a raft of changes to their timetables over the Christmas period. The rail company is making the changes from Sunday, December 11, across the North of England and Scotland. They have now asked customers to keep an eye on timetables to check if changes have been made. This is due to major engineering works which will be taking place across the network over the period. Transpennine says this work is "essential" and will mostly take place over the weekend and overnight. . “Our number one focus is providing the most reliable and punctual service possible for customers, and we continue to prioritise this following the recent disruption which has impacted some of those using our trains. “In light of the current challenges affecting our services, we have to be realistic and have made some short-term changes to what we originally wanted to deliver. Our priority is delivering a train service people can depend on whether it’s getting them to work, school or an important appointment.” They have asked companies to check their journeys via the National Rail Enquiries website or through the Transpennine Express Website.
