PremierLeague-News.Com - Huddersfield Town made a January approach to sign Mohamed Eisa and may pursue the player again this summer
PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! Peterborough United are readying themselves for a flurry of offers for striker Mohamed Eisa, after revealing details of Huddersfield Town's approach earlier this year. The Posh have made it known they are willing to listen to offers for their record transfer, with Eisa free to leave the club this summer. The well travelled 26-year-old was brought to Peterborough from Bristol City in a £1.2m deal in June 2019 and was subject of interest from a number of clubs in the January transfer window, including the Terriers. Posh director of football Barry Fry has revealed Town made an offer which included a swap deal with Reece Brown heading in the opposite direction. While that move was rejected, the Terriers may return this summer with a cash bid for a player that will cost considerably less than the money Peterborough spent to land him two years ago.

. “The pandemic and no fans has stretched most clubs financially, but we will expect a fee. “We turned down three bids for Mo last January. Huddersfield wanted to swap him for Reece Brown, but we turned that down. “MK Dons also wanted him, but couldn’t raise the money and Charlton showed an interest, but they’ve changed manager since then." Huddersfield boss Carlos Corberan will oversee a significant squad overhaul this summer and while the budget will be limited, the opportunity to land a former target on a cut-priced deal may appeal to the Terriers.
