Jonathan Nicholson attacked the victim in B&M after he tried to get him out of the store. The 32-year-old, of Windermere Drive, Knottingley, was jailed for a year today (Thursday) after pleading guilty at the earliest opportunity to assault by beating, two counts of shoplifting and failure to surrender. Prosecutor Anna Bond said Nicholson was subject to a suspended sentence when he committed the offences on December 4 last year.
