PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! Wycombe boss Gareth Ainsworth admitted he would take the blame for setting his team up differently in the loss to Bolton Wanderers as he felt the Whites took their chances well. The Whites began the season last weekend with a point on the road against Ipswich Town. This afternoon the Chairboys were the visitors for the first home game of the campaign. They took the lead in the first half when Kyle Dempsey finished to give the Whites the advantage following good work from Liverpool loanee Conor Bradley. They doubled their lead just before thee break when Aaron Morley slotted home from Dapo Afolayan's pass. It leaves Wanderers third in the League One table after two matches so far. Wycombe lost their first game in League One in 14 outings and the victory is the first time Bolton have taken three points from Ainsworth's side. Bolton had lost the previous four meetings between the teams. Ainsworth took responsibility for setting his team up differently to the previous week in the 3-0 victory over Burton Albion but felt his side still created some good opportunties in the clash. But the Wycombe boss complimented Wanderers on their performance and the chances they created and took. Ainsworth said: “I’ll take the blame for that. I set them up tactically in the first half a different way. I actually thought we created some good chances first half and if we stick them in it’s an even game.

. I changed it second half back to something more familiar and I thought we did really well. “I thought first 20 minutes we were the aggressors, but then a breakaway goal really kills us and burst the bubble because 3-0 is difficult. At 2-0 you’ve always got a chance. I take the blame for that today, that’s on me. “The players are down, I’ll pick them back up for next week and we’ll get going again. “It’s horses for courses, you can ask the same question to Ian Evatt. He’s went and got a great result at Ipswich 1-1 and he’s changed his system and his personnel, so we live and die by those decisions. I’ll take that one and the boys have given me everything. “It’s been a long while since we took a 3-0 defeat like that and that’s tough to take, but we’ll take it on the chin and go again. “It’s a tough day to take but Bolton were very good and fair play to them. They took their goals well.” Don't miss a thing from the club you love! For all the latest updates on Wanderers, sign up to our free newsletter packed with all the latest news here.
