PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! The public inquiry into the Manchester Arena resumes today following the half-term break. Evidence on the response of the emergency services was continuing to be heard. The inquiry is expected to hear today from John Fletcher, a former Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service group manager. Now retired, he was head of resilience at the service.  A now retired Greater Manchester Police inspector is also expected to give evidence.  The independent public inquiry, established by Home Secretary Priti Patel, is expected to run well into this year.

His younger brother Hashem Abedi, now 23, was convicted of 22 counts of murder, one count of attempted murder and one count of conspiracy to cause an explosion following a trial in March last year. 22 people died in the 2017 terror attack at Manchester Arena (Image: MEN) He was jailed for a minimum of 55 years in August last year. The inquiry is investigating the circumstances that led to the 22 people being killed in the blast. The Manchester Evening News will be providing live updates below.
