PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! Six men and one woman from Manchester were arrested on Wednesday morning (August 3) following an investigation into drugs supply between the region and Whitby. The major investigation was launched in December last year by detectives from the North West Regional Organised Crime Unit and other local police forces, following community concerns about drugs supply and the use of firearms in the area. Greater Manchester Police, alongside North Yorkshire Police and Cheshire Police have now arrested seven people from the region as part their investigation. Three other men from Whitby were also arrested for a variety of offences including conspiracy to supply cocaine and cannabis, money laundering and firearms offences. During their searches, officers seized varied amounts of cash, mobile phones and other supporting evidence. All of the ten suspects remain in custody where they are being quizzed by officers.
