PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves refused to rule out the prospect of leaving Molineux this summer amid fresh reports linking him with a move to Manchester United. United are desperate to add a new midfielder to their ranks ahead of the transfer window closing in less than a month's time. Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong was installed as their top target back in May and talks between the two clubs have been ongoing ever since. United, as reported by the Manchester Evening News at the end of June, have agreed a deal in principle with Barcelona to bring De Jong to Old Trafford but talks have hit a stumbling block because of millions of pounds worth of deferred wages that the midfielder is owed by the La Liga side. It's recently been claimed that Chelsea are now in 'direct talks' with Barcelona to sign the midfielder. United have never considered the Portuguese international as a top target, but he could be a suitable back-up option if Plan A fails. Neves, under contract at Wolves until 2024, was in tears at the end of the club's final home game of last season, suggesting that his time at Molineux could be heading towards its conclusion. And he later admitted he could leave. "Everyone knows about what football is about, what our lives are about," Neves told The Athletic, speaking back in May. "Our careers are really short, we need to take the opportunities we have. "Of course, all of us have dreams and we need to live those dreams in a short space of time. Let's see what happens. I cannot say too much about it.

He joined them in the Championship and has helped them become an established Premier League side. Neves added: "This club means everything for me, for my family. My kids grew up in Wolverhampton; I have three kids, they were all born when I was here. "That means a lot to me and the people mean a lot to me because they really helped me to settle here. For me, for my family, everyone is really important. "If I go it would be really hard for me and my family. But, as I told you, we have dreams to live in a short space of time. And if anything happens, that's why I was so emotional the last game at home because I don't know how it's going to be. "If it was my last game it was really important. But, as I told you, I don't know anything yet. So, for now, I'm just thinking of my holidays and the national team."
