PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! Police have placed a dispersal order at a beauty spot that residents say is being ruined by anti-social behaviour, littering and traffic. Cheshire Police have placed the dispersal order in Pickmere from 4pm today (Friday August 5) until 3.59pm on Sunday (August 7). Motorists have also been urged to 'be courteous' following reports of parking issues near to Pickmere Lake, a 40 minute drive from Manchester, after reports of cars parked on yellow lines, junctions and blocking driveways. The dispersal order gives cops extra powers to remove people if they are believed to be 'causing a nuisance, harassment or distress'. They can move anyone out of the specified area and stop them returning for up to 24 hours. Inspector Andy Baker said: “These powers allow us to take stronger action in deterring anti-social behaviour and brings a form of reassurance to residents who live in the community. We are listening to resident’s concerns and working with partners to find a long-term solution. .” The police map showing the area the dispersal order covers CheshireLive reports that the complaints were raised at a recent Cheshire East Council meeting. As well as drivers blocking narrow lanes and people fighting in the streets at Pickmere Lake, visitors were accused of leaving drug paraphernalia, empty alcohol bottles and human excrement. One Pickmere resident told the Local Democracy Reporting Service the problem happens for about 12 weeks every year during the summer. Mike Wood said: “We’re having to go up there and direct traffic out round the back of Pickmere and also get in the middle and break up fights because people are getting frustrated they’re not moving.” He said the other day his wife phoned him to say she was unable to get through the traffic to get home. “We have some friends on a road further up in the village and she phoned them and asked if she could park on their driveway and went and got her car the next morning,” he said. “We’ve had examples where residents’ bins haven’t been collected because bin lorries can’t pass down through the parked cars. We’ve also instances where ambulances and fire engines have not been able to get down. “And, we are seeing an increasing amount of anti-social behaviour with drug taking and excess littering, which includes human excrement, because the facilities are inadequate for the volume of people that come down here.” Read more of today's top stories here READ NEXT: "I don't want another parent to go through the pain I have": The heartbroken people facing up to the reality of knife attacks Police to clamp down on 'youths wreaking havoc' on town centre during holidays Estate agent was allegedly battered in hotel by rugby star boyfriend who died of a heart attack during the assault Warning after young man climbs Salford Quays bridge in 'incredibly dangerous' stunt Victim of vicious racist attack during which she was BITTEN talks about impact on her son as attacker avoids jail
