Here’s why your payment could be delayed, and how to report it missing.Why haven’t I received my cost of living payment yet?The Department for Work and Pensions has given the following reasons for payments possibly being late:You’re still waiting for a decision on your benefit application or appeal – if you’re eligible, you’ll get the cost of living Payment automatically laterThe payment is not due yet for your benefit – for example, if you get tax credits, you will not get your first cost of living payment until autumn 2022People who are eligible solely through receiving child tax credit and working tax credit will not get their first payment until the autumn to avoid duplicate payments.Eligible people should have the payments appear in their bank accounts automatically, with the code “DWP C O L” or similar.
