PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! A Lakenheath postmistress is set to fulfil one of her dreams by taking her band on stage at one of the UK's biggest independent metal festival.Lisa Skinner, lead singer with melodic power metal outfit Sorceress of Sin, applied for the band to be part of Derbyshire's Bloodstock Festival in August this year. She said: "They put a thing out asking for bands, I saw it and asked the band if we should give it a shot - I did not think for one second they would get back in touch.Lisa and Paul Skinner, singer and drummer of Sorceress of Sin, inside the post office. We could not believe it and it was totally unexpected."The opportunity to play the festival, which has been going since 2001, has been something that Lisa has had an ambition to do since going there. She said: "I went to Bloodstock about three or four years ago and when I was there I thought it is such a shame I am not playing.

. So we can not wait to go out on stage there." With restrictions lifting, Lisa hopes Sorceress of Sin will be able to fit a few gigs in before their Sunday slot on the New Blood Stage for up and coming bands on August 15.On top of that, having released their debut album, Mirrored Revenge, in November last year, the band also hopes to have their second out to coincide with the festival. Lisa said: "I think we got our spot due to the really great comments we had about the first album, with some calling us the best up and coming band in the UK."I also think, with Covid, that has stopped a lot of the European bands from being able to come to Bloodstock too, so we have been lucky timing-wise. "You never know we might make a good impression and one day make it to the main stage, that is the big aim and we are hopefully a little closer to doing that with this shot.".For more information on the band, go to the Sorceress of Sin Facebook page.Read more: All the latest news from Suffolk
