Uk news SNP to fall short of overall majority, according to BBC Holyrood projection PremierLeague-News.Com
PremierLeague-News.Com - However the numbers show a large majority for the pro-independence SNP and Greens.
PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! The BBC has projected a comfortable majority for the pro-independence parties - but with the SNP falling short of an outright victory. Under the figures, the broadcaster put the SNP on 63 seats, which is the same as five years ago and two short of an overall majority. Pollster Sir John Curtice said: "The route to 65 is now closed.” Although the BBC projects the SNP falling short of a majority, Nicola Sturgeon’s party is still significantly ahead of every other party. The forecast had the Tories comfortably in second place on 31 seats - the same as their tally in the 2016 election. Labour would secure 22 MSPs under the projection, down two from the last election. The Greens are in line for 9 MSPs, up from 2016. If replicated in the final result, it would give the pro-independence parties 72 seats - a clear majority at Holyrood.
