Julius Cools dedicated his brave actions to his 14-year-old-son, Jermaine, who was stabbed to death last year, reports MyLondon. Julius claims the man entered his Caribbean food shop in London and approached a teenage girl already in the shop. The business owner, who owns Cools Kitchen, then alleges that the hooded figure told the teen: "I'm going to stab you". The brave restaurateur then put himself between the pair, with footage showing him wrestling with the man. The two men knocked over tables and chairs in the establishment during the struggle. The man demanded back his huge blade but was refused by the business owner. Julius said : "When he came in I thought they were friends at first but then he threatened her saying 'I'm going to stab you'. She was a teenager, maybe 16-years-old. I realised it was a problem and put myself between them and that's when I saw he had a knife at his waist. I know he could have stabbed me, he could have stabbed but I didn't care my only thought was to protect this girl. "I'm not scared of nothing, since my son was killed nothing can scare me." The knifeman, now without his weapon, vacated the store. Julius says he is proud of his actions but was left wishing someone had stepped up similarly to prevent the death of his child.
