ScotRail say a number of key routes will have the vast majority of their services cancelled, causing a severe impact on customers as the country eases out of lockdown. More action is expected for the next four weeks. ScotRail management and support have stepped in to cover for ticket examiners in order to keep trains moving over the past few weeks. David Simpson, ScotRail Operations Director, said: “The continuing strike action by the RMT union will have a significant impact on customers who are returning to the railway as lockdown eases. "
