Over on his Facebook page, Gary started a conversation with his followers and asked what they thought of the unusual dish and admitted he had tried it and it was 'weirdly nice'. And one penned: "This pandemic is just pushing people over the edge." But some agreed with the sweet and savoury combination. One wrote: "My mum always used to give us curry with banana when I was wee and it was nice, took the heat away." Another added: "My dad always served his home made curry with sliced banana, walnuts and mango chutney. Delish!"
Scot orders pineapple and banana pizza from takeaway and customers are outraged
