PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! Lockdown restrictions have been a part of our lives for over a year now. The stay-at-home rule was replaced with a message to 'stay local' - meaning that Scots can make journeys within their local council area. Many took the chance to visit parks and beauty spots over Easter Weekend - but the message to remain local fell on deaf ears in some cases. Nicola Sturgeon today announced that the majority of school pupils will return to places of education after the Easter holiday period. Priority continues to be placed on getting kids back to school but progress is threatened when rules are breached. Dr Gregor Smith, Scotland Chief Medical Officer, warned last week that Scotland's Covid situation remains 'fragile' and could change very quickly. We are yet to see whether large gatherings across the bank holiday will impact Scotland's progress in lowering case numbers in a bid to return to some sort of normality by Summer. Some Scots breached rules over the weekend. Views were certainly mixed but many believed that, with restrictions beginning to be relaxed, less people are sticking to the rules still in place across the country. Amanda Fraser aired her views: "Nope, so what is the point in some doing. We personally have for the best part of a year but we have been working through all of this." Others felt that breaches over the weekend have made clear that some Scots have simply had enough of abiding by the strict rules. Joyce Combe said: "Considering what happened in the meadows over the Easter weekend, I would say no." Mel Tares commented: "No, people are doing their own thing and have been for a while, everyone is fed up." Concern over Scots' 'slack' attitude towards rules was also a common thought. Many are worried that another lockdown - with a strict stay-at-home message - is on the cards as winter returns. Caz Rae said: "There are so many vehicles on the road, one would be hard-pressed to realise that there is supposed to be a lockdown on, even though it has been eased over the last week. Given what happened last summer when restrictions were eased and the 'fall out' afterward, I can see exactly the same occurring this spring/summer and we will find ourselves back in the 4th lockdown." Annoying when I have followed all the rules." It was clear to see the frustration - whether that be due to restrictions still being in place or due to some ignoring the rules - amid some readers. Craig Fife simply asked "Have they ever?" when asked whether he thinks Scots are sticking to the guidance. What do you think? Have your say in the comments sections below.
