A further 270 people have been diagnosed with Covid in Scotland within the last 24 hours while almost three million people have received at least one dose of a vaccine. Fresh data has been published this afternoon by the Scottish Government as part of its national COVID-19 daily briefing. And the figures come as Prime Minister Boris Johnson expressed concern with regards to the so-called Indian variant while First Minister Nicola Sturgeon admitted an outbreak in Glasgow was also being monitored closely. The number of newly-reported positive coronavirus cases recorded by NHS Ayrshire & Arran has increased by 10 to 17,153. Of the new cases, five were from East Ayrshire and three were attributed to South Ayrshire. There were two new cases in North Ayrshire.
