PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! The return of Saturday Night Takeaway at the weekend left viewers asking one question - what happened to Little Ant and Dec. Actual Ant and Dec returned to screens on Saturday, February 20, and during a packed show that featured studio guest Gary Barlow, the giveaway of a number of holidays and a hilarious I'm A Celebrity Get Out Me Ear featuring Harry and Jamie Redknapp, the lads made mention of having 'little Ant and Dec' - but it was computerised versions of themselves rather than in the flesh mini-mes. Little Ant and Dec became an instant hit in 2003 when they joined Ant and Dec in the first series of Takeaway, with James Pallister and Dylan McKenna-Redshaw the first boys to get the job, James playing Ant and Dylan being Dec. (Image: James Pallister) They were given the opportunity to interview some very high profile guests including Tony Blair, Will Smith, Katie Price, David Beckham and music legend Diana Ross, who they serenaded with a version of Geordie anthem Fog on the Tyne. But growing up came with some rather inevitable consequences - they ended up being taller than the real deal, who often crack jokes at their own expense over their height. Nearly 20 years after he first found fame as Little Ant, James now works for a well known break down company and is a dad of two.

. While James and Dylan left the roles, Little Ant and Dec didn't leave the show, with Durham youngsters Neil Overend and Haydn Reid replacing them in 2013 and James and Dylan joining them and Ant and Dec for a 'three generations of Ant and Dec' photo opportunity. The new pair stayed on the show for close to five years before a Takeaway source revealed they'd "outgrown their roles." At the time, an insider told The Sun: "The duo have “outgrown their role” and are now going to focus on their studies. Neil is moving on to high school and Haydn is preparing for his SATS and so the decision was taken for them to leave the show.” Read More Related Articles Remembering Ant and Dec's career in music - from Byker Grove to the Royal Albert Hall Read More Related Articles Why Ant and Dec aren't two metres apart on Saturday Night Takeaway as fans voice concerns
