PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! "David Healy’s success at Linfield will lead to clubs across the water considering making a move for him, according to Roy Carroll. And the former Blues goalkeeper suggests that Northern Ireland’s record goalscorer could face a big decision about his future at Windsor Park.Healy has one year left on his current deal. Earlier this month, Linfield Chairman Roy McGivern told the Belfast Telegraph that, when the title race was over, the club would offer their manager a new long-term contract.Carroll has great respect for the job that Healy has done at Linfield and was an influential figure in his early years at Windsor, helping the Killyleagh man win League titles and an Irish Cup.The Dungannon Swifts No.1 says: “David Healy has decisions to make about his career going forward in the next few years. He has to think what else can he do at Linfield? Can he push them even further? What’s going to happen with them going full-time next season?“I always wish David all the best because he is a good guy off the pitch and I believe he has what it takes to become a top-class coach and top-class manager. “Linfield have been brilliant under David. Before he came in, they had struggled to win trophies for a few years and now he has won lots of silverware with maybe more to come this season. People shouldn’t underestimate the number of League titles he has won in a short period of time. I’ve heard interest has been growing in him and people are sitting up and taking notice of the success he has had at Linfield and the improvement in his players. “He is learning his trade and the record he has already at Linfield is amazing. “No disrespect to Linfield because I have enormous respect for the club but if clubs across the water are looking for a good young manager, Healy would be one they should be looking at.

. The Stangmore Park outfit remain where Shiels found them mid-season, at the bottom of the table, but he has received praise for the attractive football his team have played.“It’s Dean’s first manager’s job and it is a very hard job,” says Carroll.“He is trying to play a brand of football which is very difficult in the Irish League but is determined to stick by his principles.“Dean has a style of coaching which is very high energy and there is an intensity about his training. “I was used to that playing in England and Dean is trying to bring those standards. He is putting his own stamp on the club and hopefully that will work for him.“Like David, I played with Dean for Northern Ireland and he is another fantastic guy and he is putting so much effort into Dungannon to get the club going and hopefully he can push things on. “There is no doubt in my view that Dean is a good coach. He has shown that with his dad Kenny with the Northern Ireland Women’s team. They worked wonders qualifying for the Euros. No one would have thought that possible a few years ago. “Making it to a major tournament has given everyone a huge lift in Northern Ireland, especially women’s football, and hopefully it will encourage more girls to play football and get more young female goalkeepers coming through.”" , "isAccessibleForFree": "False", "hasPart": { "@type": "WebPageElement", "isAccessibleForFree": "False","cssSelector": "#flip-pay"} }
