The condition is characterised by a number of symptoms that can include 'man boobs', a low sex drive, irritability and depression. He said: "Testosterone deficiency is a recognised condition and one which can have serious implications on quality of life for sufferers. "It's a difficult topic for some to talk about as they can wrongly assume a decline in testosterone somehow makes them 'less of a man'. In reality, it's a common condition with some estimates suggesting it affects around one in four.
