PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! A couple's incredible property in the running to be Scotland's Home of the Year has left people divided over their motorbikes - which are stored in the kitchen. Spottes Mill, in Castle Douglas, is an urban rebuild of a former grain store with a stunning stone exterior, while the inside is painted almost entirely black with contemporary interiors. Motorcycle enthusiasts Mark Paterson and his partner Carol-Ann Brown built the incredible home, which includes a stylish mezzanine and open-plan living space. But one controversial feature of the stunning property got people talking on social media when the episode aired on Wednesday night. The couple's Harley-Davidsons take pride of place in the centre of the home next to dining table and kitchen area, with the pair wheeling them in and out to ride them. Taking to social media, one viewer said: "Not sure about the motorbikes beside the dining table #SHOTY." Another replied: "House YES. Motorbikes NO." The couple told of their experience of building the home which was originally planned to be a conversion which turned into a complete new-build due to lack of foundations. Mark said: "It was a really difficult and long-drawn out and expensive process. But in the long run, I think we've got a better result for it." Judges architect Michael Angus, interior designer Anna Campbell-Jones and lifestyle blogger Kate Spiers were seriously impressed with the house, giving it the highest rating of the episode.
