A solution is being sought by councillors over a pedestrianised road in Bury St Edmunds which is often used by vehicles as a cut through and place to park, causing danger to residents.Problem traffic and parking near McDonald’s in Brentgovel Street has been an ongoing issue for residents, and at a Bury Town Council meeting on March 24, councillors Joanna Rayner and Cliff Waterman proposed an investigation be carried out to look at traffic calming measures to alleviate the situation.The proposals could see planters used as a physical barrier to stop traffic passing through.The pedestrianised area in Brentgovel Street, Bury St Edmunds.
