PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! "Coleraine manager Oran Kearney was left lamenting a lack of final product at Windsor Park after his side's defeat to Linfield on Wednesday night. The Bannsiders are now 12 points behind the Blues in the Danske Bank Premiership, although they do have a game in hand, after their 2-1 defeat at the National Stadium on Wednesday.Jordan Stewart's two first-half goals were enough to settle the game for the hosts, while Coleraine couldn't find a double to rescue at least a point after the restart, despite Niall Quinn's red card for Linfield.Curtis Allen did find the net with four minutes remaining, however it would prove to be nothing more than consolation for Kearney's men, and the manager was left bemoaning a lack of a clinical edge."(Allen's goal) was the only quality we had tonight. We created an awful lot of chances and a lot of entries in the first half, we've had big chances in the second half as well but we haven't made Chris (Johns) make many saves," sighed Kearney."Skinner's (Eoin Bradley) got in for two opportunities in the second half and hasn't pulled the trigger, and probably Curtis' goal is the only bright spark from an attacking point of view tonight. That's the bit that probably hurt us, the final third."On the whole, Coleraine weren't played off the park by their hosts, but Kearney did admit he was also left frustrated by how his team lost their shape after Stewart's opening goal, while the striker's second was the killer blow. "It was frustrating. I think we've lamented our first halves in the last couple of games, we weren't good against Glenavon particularly on Saturday," added Kearney.

. I think we lacked that final pass or bit of skill to create that chance."Then on 20 minutes we concede a goal against the run of play, it's a really quick counter-attack and, to be fair to Jordan Stewart, it looked a heck of a finish."The disappointing aspect after then is that mentality shift. We go down 1-0 and then, for the next 20, 25 minutes of the half, we played Russian roulette. We deviate from the game plan, we press them in areas we don't need to press them in and we turned it into a game of basketball where, yes, we had some good opportunities but that also allowed them to launch some blistering counter-attacks that caused us problems."We think, okay, we're going to get in at half-time 1-0 down and then we concede another, and just how they get into that scenario is the disappointing thing. That, to me, is the more detrimental goal, because if we get in at half-time 1-0 down it's then red card and 1-1 and we're pushing for a winner later on."The Bannsiders were also left counting the cost of an injury to goalkeeper Gareth Deane, who had to be replaced midway through the second half, and Kearney wasn't optimistic about his outlook."It's his thumb and it's not looking good," added the manager." }
