PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! New data has revealed that despite Peterborough being one of UK's biggest spenders when it comes to Christmas celebrations, this year they are cutting back. On average Christmas celebrations cost £99,047 per year making Peterborough one of the top spending cities in the whole of the UK. Gift and card retailer, Funky Pigeon revealed the figures following a Freedom of Information (FOI) request showing which areas people are getting the most ‘bang’ for their council tax. The average spend for the city dates back to 2016, and includes budgets for 2022. For Peterborough the budget in the last four years has reduced by around 60 per cent, as the UK faces a Christmas amid a cost of living crisis. With average costs of almost £100,000 per year, Peterborough is the fourth biggest spender in the UK and the second biggest spender in England.
