PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! Manchester United's players have finally left the Lowry Hotel and have headed home, after a day of waiting to see whether their game against Liverpool would go ahead. The Premier League clash with United's big rivals was scheduled for 4.30pm, but kick off was initially delayed and then the match postponed completely, after a mass anti-Glazer protest by United supporters. Fans gathered outside Old Trafford and by the team hotel in the city centre in huge numbers, a group forming a barricade next to the team buses that prevented them from travelling to the stadium. Some chanted "we decide when you play", while at the ground a group of supporters stormed inside the stadium and even onto the pitch to continue their protests against the club's Glazer owners. Kick off was delayed by the authorities as they sought a way to get the players and officials inside the stadium safely.
