Despite speculation, an offer for Bernardo has not been received or accepted by Manchester City as things stand, however Pep Guardiola did admit last week that he did not know where his midfielder's future lies. Speaking to ESPN, Bernardo did hint that his future may be elsewhere but that 'if he stays', he has huge respect for the club and is very happy at the Etihad. Joan Laporta, Barcelona's president, has claimed that Bernardo is a 'very good player' but according to CBS journalist Ben Jacobs, City have put a substantial £65m price tag on their midfielder. Barca may struggle to reach this price due to their current financial situation.

Lodi made 29 appearances in the Spanish top flight last season as well as ten in the Champions League.
