UK Boy, 14, left hospitalised after masked gang ambush him at beauty spot last minute news
PremierLeague-News.Com- Jordan Arrowsmith was punched to the ground for his £500 bike
PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! A 14-year-old boy has been left with shocking injuries after he was beaten up for his bike in Sale. The teenager required hospital treatment after suffering a broken foot and bloodied lip when three men attacked him at the entrance to Priory Woods. A group of men, aged between 17 and 22 and wearing balaclavas, approached the boy and his friends as they visited the beauty spot on Easter Monday. The victim, Jordan Arrowsmith, was reportedly punched and knocked off his £500 bike, which the men then stole. It is understood the same group then targeted two other 14-year-old boys, who also reported their bike stolen. Greater Manchester Police say they are treating the two assaults as linked, and have launched an investigation. Jordan's mum, Fay Arrowsmith, told the Manchester Evening News her son was left fearing for his life and is scared to leave the house. "We don't usually let him go out of the area but on Monday my husband dropped him off at Priory Woods in Sale with a couple of friends," Fay said. "As Jordan was going into the park, three lads have been walking out all with balaclavas on so you could only see their eyes." Fay said her son had been riding past the men when one of them allegedly punched Jordan, knocking him off his bike. "He said blood was pouring everywhere," she said. "Jordan said he tried to get back on the bike and they were circling him. As he tried to get on his bike they ripped it from under him and he broke his foot. "Three teeth have gone straight through his mouth and we spent a night in the hospital." Fay said she had been out with her other children when she received a call from her son to say '"mum I've been robbed, I'm hurt." "He was hysterical and very shaken up," she said. "My mind was working overtime. I didn't know what was going on. I got on the phone to the police and they were brilliant. "We got there and he stood there in shock.

." The mum said a short time later two young boys came round the corner in a hysterical state, claiming they had also been robbed.

Faye believes the group of men deliberately targeted the park, as it is common knowledge that lots of young teenagers go there to ride their mountain bikes. "I can't imagine another young child experiencing what we did," she said. "My son isn't one of these children who are street wise, he just went on a ride with his friends and for that to happen is really scary. "I feel like I can’t let him out of the house. He’s trying to act brave about it but I know it has really shook him up. "It was broad daylight you just don’t expect it."

Faye said she is concerned that if the group of men aren't caught more children will be targeted for their bikes. "My worry is that they are going to end up killing somebody," she said. "If they have gone out that brazen and beaten up a 14-year-old child they don’t care what they’re doing and they’re not bothered about the consequences. "They need to be caught before they harm another child." Police said they are yet to make any arrests, but enquiries into both incidents remain ongoing.
