PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! Bolton Wanderers striker Shaun Miller has admitted the frustrations of spells out injured which has limited his game time this season but is glad to be back in the mix after scoring the winner against Southend United. The 33-year-old has played only 10 times in all competitions for Wanderers this season after having a couple of lengthy spells out injured on the sidelines this campaign. But Miller has recently returned to action, coming off the bench against Mansfield Town in midweek, before netting the winner in peculiar circumstances against the Shrimpers. Antoni Sarcevic's blocked shot appeared to come off the bar and was misjudged by Southend goalkeeper Mark Oxley, leaving Miller to slot home his first league goal for Wanderers. The win has taken Bolton to 10th in the table and just three points from the play-offs. He said: “It seemed to be up in the air for a few days but it caught the keeper by surprise and luckily I was there to put it away. “It had spun up so high and I was thinking it had clearly not gone out for a corner or a goal kick, so I hovered around and on this occasion I was there to tuck it into the net. “When I came on the manager said ‘go and get the winner’ so it was job done. “It was a massive result building on the last few wins we have had but we have to keep it going now. “Usually I come on to give him (Doyle) a rest – but so long as we’re winning and scoring, either way we’ll be happy." The goal against the Shrimpers was the 100th goal of Miller's career, having also found the back of the net for Crewe Alexandra, Carlisle United, Morecambe, Sheffield United, Coventry City and Shrewsbury Town. Miller has opened up on his injury frustrations which has limited his time on the pitch for the University of Bolton Stadium side. . I came in and scored early on but got injured after the game. “I came back when the team were doing well and on another decent run but then I was out again. “I’m delighted to get my first league goal and also my 100th career goal. I was over the moon with that one. “I have been training for a while not but just to be back in the mix is great. I felt I did okay at the start of the season before I got injured so now I was to contribute everything I can between now and the end of the season. “It’s crazy because two times now I have picked up injuries that have left me out for eight or nine weeks – but I think I can put that behind me now and stay fit for the rest of the season. When I came back we were on a good run, I was back involved and everything was good, but to be out again was a nightmare. “There’s definitely a good morale in the group now and we’re confident going into games that we’re going to win them. If we keep that going we’ll be fine. “It’s frustrating watching from the stands knowing there is nothing you can do. “Hopefully all that is to bed now and I can contribute to the end of the season."
