St Mary's and St Peter's Catholic Primary School on Leeds Road made the announcement via a post on Bradford Council's school closures online noticeboard. The school said a 'deep clean' was taking place after a number of children in reception and Key Stage 1 had been affected by the sickness virus. . "We have made the decision to close this area in order to carry out a deep clean as approximately 50% of the children in these classes are now off sick. All learning will move online for the two days we are closed. Reception parent meetings will be rescheduled for Tuesday 29th November."
