PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! Tributes have been paid after two young people tragically lost their lives in a horror crash on the A65 near Ilkley on February 18. Oliver Louis Knott, 21 and Maisie Jade Ryan, 27 sadly died after a lorry, which was carrying livestock, crashed into two cars between the A6034 Silsden Road and Main Street in Addingham. Following their devastating deaths, tributes to "brilliant doctor" Maisie and "kindhearted" student Oliver have poured in from all corners of the country. A Just Giving page has been set up in memory of Maisie which has already raised more than £11,000 for charity. Her friends wrote on the page: "We’ve set up this page for our beautiful, kind, caring and sensitive friend Maisie who was tragically killed in a road traffic accident on February 18 2021. Former Thackley Juniors player Oliver Knott who sadly died in a road traffic collision on February 18 on A65 at Addingham (Image: Thackley Juniors) "Maisie spent her life caring for others and worked so hard to become the brilliant doctor she was, a job that she loved. " Anthony Nolan was a charity close to Maisie’s heart, and one which she worked with throughout her medical training and beyond. We would like to use this page as a means of continuing the wonderful work Maisie was a part of, and as a way of sharing happy memories and celebrating all that Maisie was. "She was a friend to all that knew her, and this is a loss to this world that will be felt by many." The accident prompted a large scale emergency response (Image: Skipton Fire Station) A moving tribute has also been paid to Oliver by his former football club, Thackley Juniors in Bradford.

"Winning various accolades throughout his time with both Thackley storm and Lightning teams, including the Players Player and Coaches Player of the Year on numerous occasions. "Oliver was instrumental in the Storm team's only league win in 2014, and will be remembered as an intelligent, kind-hearted, funny character, who will be truly missed by everyone that knew and played with him. "Our heartfelt sympathy go out to Oliver's family and friends. Oliver Knott 1999-2021." Following the accident, a West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "Enquiries remain ongoing to establish the circumstances of the collision." Anyone who witnessed the collision or who was in the area at this time and has any dashcam footage or any further information is asked to contact the Major Collision Enquiry Team via 101 quoting log number 284 of February 18.
