PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! An international rural film festival will return to North Yorkshire in May with some incredible cinematic masterpieces. Hinterlands International Rural Film Festival, "a cinematic love letter to rural landscapes", will run from May 21 to 23 at the Plaza Cinema in Skipton with special Covid-19 safety measures in place. Screenings will run alongside specially commissioned productions allowing promoters to safely bring the festival to intimate audiences in accordance with government restrictions. The 2021 programme consists of a varied line-up of inspirational films including the multi-Oscar nominated movies Nomadland, Minari and Wolfwalker, Christopher Smith's new Skipton-based horror The Banishing, Francis Lee's romantic drama Ammonite and Jean Cocteau’s La Belle et la Bête. Founding member of Dutch Uncles and one of the UK’s most exciting composers, Robin Richards will premier a brand new score, specially commissioned for the festival. After a successful pilot in 2019, organisers are hoping the festival will provide opportunities and support to local young creatives, filmmakers and local businesses.
