PremierLeague-News.Com - Internet star Tish and friend turfed out of store after they challenge supermarket staff over coronavirus safety
PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! Staff at a Morrisons store in Huddersfield have been caught on camera without a face covering the day after the supermarket chain announced it would be banning shoppers who refused to wear a face mask. Morrisons became the first UK supermarket to implement a policy of banning shoppers from entering its stores if they refuse to wear a face mask, unless they are medically exempt. But a video taken at the firm's Waterloo store, on Penistone Road, appears to highlight that some staff are still being allowed to roam the supermarket without a face covering. Darren Luckin and internet star Tish Simmonds - who is most known for the viral meme 'I'm in me mum's car' - captured the footage yesterday (Tuesday). In the video, the pair challenged a member of staff for not wearing a face visor while working with food. The store's security guard, who is responsible for enforcing the tougher mask policy, was also caught on camera inside the store with no face covering. During the footage, Darren asks one member of staff: "Why are you not wearing a visor?" To which he replies: "I'm exempt - I have asthma." Later in the video, Darren can be heard explaining the pair's reasoning for filming in the supermarket to a security guard who appears without a face covering to escort them off the premises. "We're going to a lot of the supermarkets to see how the procedures are working," he says.

"These include managed store entrances, plastic screens, free face coverings, managed checkout queues, rigorous and regular cleaning and clear signage and instructions for customers. On Monday we announced we are further strengthening our policy on masks." Referring to the supermarket's tough stance on face masks, Morrisons Chief Executive, David Potts, said: "Those who are offered a face covering and decline to wear one won't be allowed to shop at Morrisons unless they are medically exempt. "Our store colleagues are working hard to feed you and your family, please be kind."
