The defender impressed during a season-long loan at the City Ground and played a part in their promotion to the Premier League. Heckingbottom had kept in regular contact with the 25-year-old, who was also subject of a bid from Forest in January. All along the dialogue was about him coming back and getting in our team and being our player." And there could now be a fresh twist in Forest's search for a left back after reports emerged yesterday from Spain claiming they have lodged a 'hard and fast offer' for Valencia defender Jesus Vazquez.
