PremierLeague-News.Com - The Blades manager says he will continue to demand 'standards and bravery' from his players ahead of this Sunday's visit of Mikel Arteta's men as he tries to find the answer to his side's biggest problem
PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! Paul Heckingbottom says his players must not 'shy away' from their biggest issue as they prepare for Sunday's visit of Arsenal. The Blades boss has not managed to inspire a change in fortunes since being put in charge until the end of the season. Three games, with the Chelsea and Leeds defeats all following a similar theme to the ones from before his arrival, has left the under 23 coach under no illusion about his main challenge. United have been uncharacteristically poor with the ball this season and have made life hard for themselves, winning only four times in the league. A constant turnover of possession and the gifting of cheap goals has been the source of Sheffield United's downfall, and Heckingbottom believes a fragile confidence is to blame for that lack of quality. However, he admits there is no magic cure to the problem other than to spend this week on the training ground demanding his players continue to show the bravery required to come out the other side. "If someone knew how to get confidence, they'd be a millionaire," he said. "It's about looking forward now, we have to think about next season and think about finishing this season as positive as possible, but think a bit bigger than that as well.

"If they are giving the effort and the energy and there's a real desire to get on the ball and play, yes we might make mistakes, but we have to improve on that. We know that, it's been an area where we have struggled and why it's not been a good year for everyone, but we have to just focus on trying to put that right for the short term, which is the next game, but next season as well. "In terms of effort and energy against Leeds, it was there. "The players will fight, they are proud and you have to be that way. "They did not get to where they are as footballers by not being tough and not willing to work hard. "While ever they give that, that's all we can demand from them and everything else, such as luck of the ball, something dropping for us to get that goal or that win, or those moments of quality that we are striving to get better at, that's what we will work at."
