PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! Gary Rowett described Sander Berge as a player with 'real quality' after seeing the Norwegian produce an outstanding performance in today's 2-0 victory at Bramall Lane. The 24-year-old scored the second and proved a real handful all afternoon as the Millwall players struggled to contain him. Berge is a player Rowett has seen before in his earlier career and believes the way Blades boss Paul Heckingbottom is using him further up the pitch is the best way of using his attributes. He was not surprised at all to see how much of an impact he had on the game and said it was almost 'effortless' at times the way he strode forward. He believes he is part of a select group of players who the majority of teams in this division cannot get near in terms of attracting them to their clubs. "When you look at the five or six teams in this division that have the players that the rest of us can't get to that's just the reality of it," he said. "I remember seeing him years ago and he played in the middle of a back three and played as a holding midfielder. I think certainly playing further forward suits his talents.

. He's a player of real quality amongst many other players who can do those sorts of things as well. "I think Sheffield United, like many teams in this division like Watford with the forward line that they have got, I suppose the challenge is keeping those players come the end of August. "That's nothing to do with me but clearly they are players who can make a huge difference. I am sure there will be a lot of clubs who will also feel they can make a huge difference to them. It's as simple as that." Berge has been the subject of interest but to date all bids that have come forward have been rejected after falling way short of United's valuation. After seeing this performance today, Heckingbottom will be hoping that remains the case come September 2 having already made it clear that he believes he cannot be replaced if sold.
