PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! Chelsea maintained their unbeaten start to life under head coach Thomas Tuchel with a 1-1 draw against Southampton at St Mary's on Saturday lunchtime. After falling behind just past the half hour mark, thanks to Liverpool loanee's Takumi Minamino's cool finish, Chelsea responded nine minutes into the second half courtesy of a Mason Mount penalty. Despite dominating possession and having nine shots in comparison to the Saints' four, the Blues were unable to find the second goal they craved, meaning their four-game winning run in the league came to an end. However, Tuchel can be pleased with what he has achieved in a relatively short space of time since succeeding Frank Lampard in west London last month, winning five of his first seven games in charge, drawing the other two. After spending more than £220million during last summer's transfer window, the Blues, regardless of a change in management, were always going to be quiet in January, refusing to dive into the market to add any new faces to their squad. However, it is already seeming likely that Tuchel is going to want to put his own stamp of authority on the squad he inherited from Lampard. According to various reports in the national media in recent weeks, Tuchel has pinpointed a new centre-back and a striker as his top priorities for the summer. Thiago Silva is out-of-contract at Stamford Bridge at the end of this season and is, at this moment in time, yet to commit his future to the club, whilst Fikayo Tomori is being targeted by AC Milan on a permanent basis, following his loan switch last month. Sule is out of contract at the Allianz Arena in the summer of 2022 and Bayern may be open to cashing-in on his services if he does not put pen to paper on a new deal. According to reports, Bayern would be willing to sell the Germany international for around £33million. However, the German defender is not the only Bundesliga player on Tuchel's radar. According to the Sunday World, Blues transfer guru Marina Granovskaia is ready to splash out a whopping £172million on trying to lure Borussia Dortmund duo Jadon Sancho and Erling Haaland to west London. Since late-December, Haaland has been heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, with the club keen to acquire one of the world's hottest prospects. Since Tuchel's arrival, their desire to sign the Norway international has grown even stronger, with the German believing that the 20-year-old can be the answer to increasing their goal-scoring output. . However, Chelsea now look set to increase their interest in Sancho and launch a double move for him and Haaland this summer, especially if Dortmund fail to qualify for the Champions League for next season, which means they will be forced to offload some of their biggest stars to cover the money lost by not qualifying club football's top European competition. With all of that said, it is clear that Tuchel has aspirations to turn Chelsea into a dominant force, both in England and on the continent, with Haaland and Sancho amongst some of the most highly sought-after youngsters in world football.
