PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has admitted he has 'struggled a lot this season', but is confident a return to form is on its way and that goals will soon return to his game. The Gabonese striker has only managed three Premier League goals in 15 appearances this season, a far cry from the 55 in 85 he managed between joining in January 2018 and the end of last season. The 31-year-old signed a new deal with the Gunners in the summer but has yet to recapture his previous stunning form and the skipper is well aware of this. "From the beginning of this season I was struggling a lot but I think this is part of football," Aubameyang told Sky Sports ahead of the Gunners' clash with Crystal Palace on Thursday. "Sometimes you have ups and downs and you have to manage as best you can. I tried my best and until now it was not the best performance from me. I'm still positive. I think I can turn this around," he added. Aubameyang also spoke about how his tough time in front of goal can make it harder to lead the side. "I always try to give my best, not only on the pitch but also in the dressing room for the guys. "Sometimes it's hard and maybe you are not in the right mood but you have to find a way to change it and give positive vibes for the guys." After a terrible start to the season that saw talk of Arsenal being involved in a relegation battle, the Gunners have recently found some form.
