PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! Mason Mount has allayed fears that he is injured despite icing his knee after Chelsea's 1-1 draw with Southampton. Saints took the lead against the run of play in the first-half as Nathan Redmond slid a beautifully weighted pass to Takumi Minamino and the Liverpool loanee cooly slotted past Edouard Mendy. But the Blues were allowed back into the game thanks to Danny Ings' rash challenge in the box and Mount scored the resulting penalty. The stalemate was the first goal Chelsea have conceded since Thomas Tuchel took over in late-January. But they are still unbeaten and have picked up 14 from a possible 18 with the former Borussia Dortmund boss at the helm. Some Chelsea fans may have been worried after seeing the 22-year-old icing his knee at the end of the game but Mount assuaged supporters' concerns today. He told the club's website: "It’s just a little knock. A bit of bruising but I’ll be fine. Nothing can stop me." Chelsea will need Mount fit and firing ahead of a crucial run of fixtures coming up. Atletico Madrid in the Champions League, Manchester United, and Liverpool are the next three opponents for Tuchel’s men, and Mount described this period as a "massive" couple of weeks. "These are the games we want to play in - big Champions League games, big Premier League games against top clubs so we’re very excited and we’re looking forward to them." The midfielder assumed penalty-taking responsibilities in the absence of Jorginho, confidently converting to net at St Mary’s for the second season running.
