The Ukrainian League winners defeated the 13-times European Champions twice in the group stage of this year's competition, with Israeli international Soloman shining in both matches. And The Guardian has now reported that Arsenal are looking to seal a deal for the winger with a view to signing Solomon in the summer transfer window. The Israeli has featured predominately as a winger for Shakhtar but is capable of playing across the forward line. Solomon said of the interest from Pep Guardiola's side: "My owner in Israel [Maccabi Petah Tikva] demanded a lot of money; he wanted £4.5m for me and then he heard it was Manchester City, he wanted £9m.
