PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! Brighton manager Graham Potter was full of praise for his opponents this weekend, West Ham, and his opposite number David Moyes in particular. Potter revealed that he would love to emulate the turnaround Moyes has brought to the Hammers following their relegation-threatened season last time out compared to their European dreams this year. Brighton were until recently looking over their shoulders at the drop zone. However, following Fulham's defeat to Burnley on Monday night, the Seagulls know their Premier League status is secure and can look forward to another year of top-flight football. "We can be happy, we can be proud that we can stay in the Premier League because a lot of teams can’t do it and don’t do it and the competition is so ferocious," Potter said. "West Ham have invested a lot of money over a period of time,” he said. "It is credit to David that he has stabilised things last year and then improved again with a talented group of players." Potter added: "We want to try and win the game, we want to play well and be positive, especially with the season that David Moyes and West Ham have had, they deserve a lot of credit.

." One Hammers player Potter agreed had to be considered the loan signing of the season was the former Brighton loanee, Jesse Lingard. "Yes, he must be up there mustn't he?" he said. "He has had a tremendous impact and it is good for him, it just goes to show it is not how you handle the good times, it is how you handle the bad times. Ahead of Lingard's return to the south coast, Brighton posted footage of the England international in action for the Seagulls during his 2014 spell at the Amex. Lingard saw the video and responded with a simple message to his former club: "See you Saturday," he wrote. The loan move for Lingard was one that kickstarted his Manchester United career, following four goals in 17 appearances in the Championship for Brighton he returned to Old Trafford and got his chance in the first team. The next campaign saw Lingard establish himself in the United team, making 40 appearances across all competitions that season, and he has barely looked back since.
