PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! Arsenal legend Ian Wright has told his former club to avoid signing Real Madrid loanee Dani Ceballos on a permanent deal. Ceballos has now been on loan with Arsenal for almost two years having initially joined on loan at the start of last season before extending the deal for another campaign. But like too many of the Gunners stars, the Spaniard has been inconsistent this season, providing no goals and three assists from midfield in 40 appearances across all competitions. Unlike fellow Real Madrid loanee Martin Odegaard, Ceballos could well be made available to Arsenal to sign permanently this summer, but former Arsenal striker Wright believes the 24-year-old should be sent back to the Spanish capital. "I think that we’ve got young players coming through who should get an opportunity in front of Ceballos. “If he’s going to do anything to stay at Arsenal, it would’ve been seen already by now.” Wright also spoke about the other players who are 'vulnerable' at Arsenal ahead of a summer when Mikel Arteta could move to revamp his squad after a disappointing campaign. “You say who’s vulnerable, you look at Torreira and Guendouzi, Joe Willock is doing very well at Newcastle, [William] Saliba’s doing well as well," Wright added. "I’d like to see Joe Willock get an opportunity, but I don’t think it’s going to happen.” All four of those players are currently out on loan, with Lucas Torreira with Atletico Madrid, Matteo Guendouzi at Hertha Berlin and Saliba at Nice. Newcastle are said to be interested in signing Willock permanently, but the Gunners could give him a chance in pre-season having seen how he has performed for the Magpies at this level.
