PremierLeague-News.Com - Breaking Sport Transfer News ! Arsenal's season hit a new low after the Gunners were dumped out of the Europa League at the semi-final stage at the hands of Villarreal, managed by former boss Unai Emery. Mikel Arteta's side now have very little left to play for in their final few Premier League games, with fans already turning their attention to the summer transfer window, desperate for new additions to one of the more average Arsenal teams in recent memory. Last summer's acquisitions have achieved varying results, with Brazilian defender Gabriel quickly establishing himself as a fan favourite. This in in stark contrast to his fellow countryman Willian, with the former Chelsea winger still yet to register a goal in any competition for the Gunners and facing severe criticism from a number of his own fans, unhappy with the level he has operated at since his arrival in September. Arsenal have often secured at least one big-money marquee signing each window and last window was no different. The Gunners activated the £45m release clause in Thomas Partey's Atletico Madrid contract to bring the midfielder to the Emirates, though the Ghanaian has struggled to capture the kind of form that made him so essential to Diego Simeone's plans in Spain. Mikel Arteta will get the chance to try and bolster his side, and has already confirmed he will receive backing from owners KSE. "The squad needs changing,” Arteta told Sky Sports before the Gunners' win over West Brom. "There were already a lot of changes in December, something that has not been done in years, but it tells us where we were. Things are going to have to change and the owners are going to back it up." The Arsenal boss' next chance to bolster his playing staff comes this summer, but who are the Gunners likely to sign? We have taken a look at the players tipped to join Arsenal before next season according to bookies Sky Bet. Allan Saint-Maximin The skilful Newcastle attacker will break Toon hearts if he were to leave St James Park, the charismatic Frenchman has played his way into the hearts of the Newcastle faithful with his glorious showboating. Saint-Maximin has already garnered huge experience at the tender age of 24, boasting minutes in three of Europe's five major leagues after spells at Nice, Hannover 96 and now Newcastle. There are some question marks over the winger's output, having made 48 Premier League appearances in his two-year stay at Newcastle and registering six goals and eight assists in that time. According to Sky Bet, Mikel Arteta's side are favourites to secure the signature of Saint-Maximin at 5/1, closely followed by Everton at 7/1 and Ole Gunnat Solksjaer's Manchester United at 9/1. Wilfried Zaha The Crystal Palace attacker has long been linked with a move to the Emirates, coming close in 2019 before the Gunners opted for Zaha's international teammate Nicolas Pepe instead.

. The Ivorian is a boyhood Arsenal fan and has previously claimed how he would be keen to ply his trade at the Emirates, but the Gunners have often balked at the Eagles' asking price. A future somewhere in North London appears to be on the cards for Zaha, but it remains unclear as to which club. Sky Bet have both Arsenal and fierce local rivals Tottenham at 5/1 to be the teams to tempt Zaha away from Selhurst Park for the second time of his career. Tariq Lamptey Brighton defender Tariq Lamptey has a lengthy list of potential suitors, with the 20-year-old full-back catching the eye with his technical quality. The former Chelsea youngster has endured a season plagued with injuries, but that does not seem to have put off Arsenal, who are clear favourites to win the race for his signature at 3/1. Lamptey only made one appearance for Chelsea before his move, coincidentally coming against Arsenal in Chelsea's 2-1 win at the Emirates right at the beginning of Mikel Arteta's reign - he clearly made quite the impression. The Gunners will again have to come up against rivals Tottenham, who are also reportedly keen on buying the right-back at 7/1 despite strengthening in that position with Matt Doherty at the beginning of the season. Odsonne Edouard Celtic talisman Edouard has established himself as one of the most lethal marksmen in Scottish football, with 21 goal contributions in 29 games. The Frenchman is rumoured to be available at a cut-price valuation, which could tempt the Gunners who are likely to move on one of their current forwards in either Eddie Nketiah or Alexandre Lacazette. According to reports, Edouard has already told those in charge at Celtic his wishes to leave the club come the end of the season. Sky Bet have Arsenal as second favourites to sign him at 9/2, behind Leicester City at 6/4. The reasons behind Leicester's status as favourites may be due to Edouard's desire to reunite with former Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers. Yves Bissouma The Brighton midfielder is expected to be one of the most highly sought players in the transfer window, with a number of high-profile clubs in pursuit of the Mali international. Liverpool and Arsenal appear to be the front runners, with Jurgen Klopp reportedly taking the unusual step of personally researching the player to determine whether he has the right characteristics to slot in at Anfield. Arsenal's local rivals Tottenham have registered an interest, along with Everton and West Ham - but according to a recent Daily Star report, Arsenal are 'confident' of signing the Mali international in a £30m deal when the transfer window opens at the end of the season. Sky Bet have the Gunners pegged as second favourites for Bissouma at 7/2, behind Liverpool at 5/1.
